Onspot is a social network app created to interact with others in your local area in real-time. We aim to take social networking beyond the digital phase and create a real life experience by inviting our community to be in different locations we will call The Spot. This will further develop as our community grows.

The way it works: Our Users take pictures of others, tag/spot them, and upload them to the app's feed. The app displays pictures of users spotted nearest, along with their location on a map. The posts are uploaded for a maximum time of 24 hours and then get deleted automatically in order to keep it dynamic and updated to what is happening in the moment.

Users can also follow and be followed by other users, like and comment on posts, and share posts on other social media platforms.

One of the main problems with other social media platforms is the lack of authenticity and real-time interactions. Users often feel disconnected from others, despite being connected virtually. Onspot addresses this issue by providing a platform for users to connect in real time, in real places, and with real interactions.

Onspot’s focus on local interactions, real-time photo sharing, and location based features creates an environment that encourages users to engage with others in their immediate vicinity, fostering authentic and meaningful connections. By allowing users to take real-time pictures of others and tag them with their location, the app enables users to identify and connect with individuals who are physically nearby, providing a sense of community and belonging.

Onspot solves the problem of inauthentic and disconnected social interactions by providing a platform that encourages users to connect in real time, in real places, and with real interactions. The app creates a sense of community and fosters authentic connections by enabling users to identify and connect with others nearby, while also providing a fun and engaging scoring system that incentivizes users to be active and engaged on the platform.
